Terms of Service

1. The Service

CLF AI Gateway (“the Service”, “we”) provides API access to open-source AI models (Kimi, GLM and others) through an OpenAI-compatible interface, running on third-party cloud infrastructure. You purchase prepaid credits and are charged per actual token used.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. All requests made with your keys are considered yours and are billed accordingly.
  • One account per person or organization unless we agree otherwise.

3. Credits & payment

  • Purchased credits do not expire. Promotional credits carry a stated expiry and lapse automatically.
  • Card payments are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record — your card transaction is with Dodo Payments under their terms. Vietnamese bank transfers are processed via payOS.
  • Prices are listed in USD on the Models page and may change; price changes apply only to requests made after the effective time, never retroactively.

4. How billing works

  • Charges = actual input + output tokens × the model's price at request time. Reasoning tokens of reasoning models are billed at the output rate and shown transparently in your usage.
  • If you disconnect mid-stream, tokens already generated and delivered up to that point are still charged.
  • Zero-completion insurance: if a request fails without producing any output tokens, you are not charged for it.
  • Cache hits are billed at a discounted rate (currently 10% of the normal price) and are clearly flagged in your logs.

5. Refunds

Used credits are non-refundable. Unused credits may be refunded case-by-case within 14 days of purchase — contact support. For card payments via Dodo Payments, refund requests follow Dodo Payments' process. If a billing error on our side occurs, we refund the difference as credits or money at your choice.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate applicable law or third-party rights;
  • Generate fraud, malware, spam, or harmful automated abuse;
  • Circumvent technical limits, rate limits, or billing mechanisms;
  • Violate the licenses of the underlying models (e.g., Llama Community License, MoonshotAI/Z.ai terms for the respective models).

We may suspend or terminate violating accounts; in that case, unused purchased credits are refunded after deducting outstanding obligations, unless the law requires otherwise.

7. Content & models

  • You retain all rights to your inputs (prompts) and outputs. We claim no ownership.
  • AI model outputs may be wrong, biased, or inappropriate — you are responsible for verifying them before use, especially in medical, legal, or financial contexts.
  • The model list, specs and upstream model IDs are public on the Models page; models may be added/removed as the infrastructure provider changes them, and we announce before removing a model in active use.

8. Service level

The Service is provided “as is”. We strive for high availability and publish system status, but do not yet commit to an SLA at this stage. We are not liable for indirect damages; our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the last 3 months.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes are announced via email and a dashboard banner at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
